nothing really fades away

erasing previous canvas
this naked story
this layer white

bare arms coloured by your touch
hair tossled and pinned up recklessly
clinging to neck, beads of sweat

skin glowing, warmth left
paint stained fingerprints, my shoulder blade
green smudges, the small of my back

i'll paint for hours
my mind, my brush
dreams of erasing

next day it's there again
it's not easy
this pain

fade away
to nothing
please

This is very beautifully written. I think I understand this pain and I am sorry that you know it too.

the mental image is pure and vivid.
